Mansa Devi Temple is a highly revered Hindu Temple built for Goddess Mansa Devi in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. It is also known as Bilwa Tirth as it is one of the Panch Tirth or the Five Pilgrimages situated within Haridwar.

Hari refers to Lord/God and Dwar means Gateway. So, Haridwar stands for Gateway to the Lord. As per the India mythology, Haridwar is one of the four places where drops of elixir or Amrita accidentally spilled over from the Kumbha or pot carrying it. So, this is one of the places where the Kumbh Mela is celebrated every 12 years.
